Project Overview

Clare Cassidy, an entrepreneur and founder of Buggy Tunes Ltd, sought my assistance in developing a range of mini MP3 players designed as children’s entertainment devices. The all-in-one MP3 player and speaker can be easily attached to various items such as prams, high chairs, and children’s car seats. Additionally, it connects to a platform that allows parents to download lullabies and soothing sounds to help relax their children.

Development Process

Cypheron Design initially presented Clare with a variety of concepts and renderings to bring her ideas to life. Through collaborative discussions, we explored user needs and established specifications and functional requirements for the device.

Recognizing the potential of her invention, Clare decided to protect her idea. I introduced her to Martin White, Cypheron’s patent attorney, who successfully secured a worldwide patent for the device, safeguarding its novel features.

As part of the development process, I built several physical models to validate the concept, test the electronics, and assess usability.

Current Status

The project is now entering its second phase, which is almost ready to restart.
